In recent years, Civita has been recognized by national and international media as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and the Living Nativity never fails to meet expectations.

The ancient village offers a unique setting, where the enchanting landscape provides a backdrop for a timeless experience. To access the town, one must cross a bridge suspended over the void, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Valley of the Calanchi. The feeling of entering a dream is palpable.

The performance includes ten scenes that, like a mosaic, recreate the key moments of the birth of Jesus. Spectators can stroll through the Arab souk, the Roman castrum, meet Herod, explore noble residences and the Bedouin tribe, observe artisans at work, the Magi, the shepherds, and the lazaretto, culminating, of course, in the Nativity. This extraordinary blend of colors, emotions, and beauty offers an unforgettable journey through time.

To stay updated on all the news and information, follow the Facebook page of the Living Nativity of Civita di Bagnoregio.
